Dr. Tétreault received her AB from Sarah Lawrence College and her MA and PhD from Rice University. She has written or edited more than a dozen books on social movements, energy, Gulf politics, international political economy, and international relations theory. She is presently doing research on repression and dissent in five Middle Eastern countries.
