Ambassador Killgore is the president and one of the founders of the American Educational Trust. He has served in Beirut, Jerusalem, Amman, Baghdad, Dhaka, Tehran and Bahrain. He was U.S. ambassador to the Emirate of Qatar, and upon retiring received the Foreign Service Cup Award. He holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
