Mr. Angell is a partner at Afridi & Angell LLC, an international law firm with offices in New York; Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates; and Islamabad, Pakistan. He has been legal advisor to the U.S. AID missions to Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as a resident partner at Chadbourne, Parke and Afridi, Middle East Offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has also been admitted to the Bar of the United Arab Emirates as legal consultant. His more recent publications include a paper entitled Islamic and Western Banking: A Comparison with Selected Legal Issues. He holds an LL.B. from Harvard Law School.
