Iran, Persian Gulf Region
Dr. Sick has served on the National Security Council staff under Presidents Ford, Carter and Reagan. He is a retired captain who served in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Sick has also served as deputy director for international affairs at the Ford Foundation. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University, where he teaches and manages the online Gulf/2000 Project for Persian Gulf specialists worldwide.
