Dr. Robinson teaches courses in Comparative Politics, Middle East Area Studies and Political Violence. He is also research associate in the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He has advised various USG agencies on Middle East issues, including the Agency for International Development and the Department of Defense. He has authored and co-authored three books on Palestinian state building, including, Building a Palestine State: The Incomplete Revolution (1997), and two books published by the RAND Corporation in 2005. His articles have appeared in Foreign Affairs, Current History, International Journal of Middle East Studies, Middle East Policy, The Washington Quarterly, Journal of Palestine Studies, Survival, Strategic Comments, and The Middle East Journal.
