Dr. Kelman was founding director (1993-2003) of the Program on International Conflict Analysis and Resolution at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. He has chaired or co-chaired Harvard's Middle East Seminar for the last 25 years. He received the 1997 Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order. He holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from Yale University.
