An international business consultant and writer/researcher, Mr. Hof served in senior trouble-shooting positions in the Department of State following a career as a U.S. Army officer. In 2001 he directed the field operations of the Mitchell committee in Jerusalem and the lead drafter of the Committee's report. He is the author of Beyond the Boundary: Building a Stable Lebanese-Israeli Peace (2000), Line of Battle, Border of Peace? The Line of June 4, 1967 (1999) and Galilee Divided: The Israel-Lebanon Frontier, 1916-1984 (1985). Mr. Hof is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the Masters program in Middle Eastern studies at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California.
