Mr. Hamod has been involved in foreign policy issues in Washington for more than two decades. As head of NUSACC since 2004, he works closely with high-level government officials and business community leaders in the United States and the 22 Arab nations. NUSACC has been a leading proponent of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) between the USA and the Arab world, and Mr. Hamod testifies regularly on Capitol Hill. As founder and President of Intercom International, Mr. Hamod has represented American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) throughout the Middle East. Over the years, other clients have included the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Mr. Hamod earned a Master's degree in International Relations from the John Hopkins University, SAIS, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
