Governance

The Middle East and North Africa region contains a rich variety of governance models from democracy to autocracy, and each model directly impacts relations in the region and with the United States. MEPC aims to provide new ideas and analysis on domestic governance issues such as patterns of protest, economic trends, and overall governing ability. Through the quarterly Capitol Hill conferences, journal articles, and Emerging Voices column, MEPC brings together new and established voices to understand the changing relationships between government and citizens and what that means for the future of MENA.
