Political Economy

Edward M. Graham is Senior Fellow at the Institute for International Economics in Washington, DC, since 1991, and concurrently Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in New York. He served in the US Treasury Department in Washington DC, where for two years he was seconded to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France. He is author or coauthor of a number of books, including Foreign Direct Investment in the United States, Global Corporations and National Governments, Competition Policy for the Global Economy and Restructuring Korea's Industrial Conglomerates and is co-editor with Theodore H. Moran and Magnus Blomström of Does FDI Promote Development? His next book, coauthored with David Marchick, US National Security and Foreign Direct Investment, was released in May, 2006. He has published more than 60 articles in academic journals or conference volumes and an equal number appearing in the popular and financial press. He holds a MBA and doctoral degrees from Harvard University.
