Areas of Expertise
Iran
Dr. Gheissari received his BA at the School of Law and Political Science at Tehran University, and earned his D.Phil in Iranian Studies at Oxford University. He is the author of various publications such as, Democracy in Iran: History and the Quest for Liberty, with Vali Nasr (Oxford University Press, 2006), and Iranian Intellectuals in the Twentieth Century (University of Texas Press, 1998).
